This little combo is fab for an extended duration at medium aerobic capacity.
I used this combo today to keep myself in a state at the edge to the anaerobic for an extended period of time. While high-intensity intervals (HIIT) to benefit of the EPOC effect are my preference, this time is different.
Why? Because I am currently transitioning into a low-carb protocol and not getting anaerobic is important to not deplete glucose reserves too quickly. A more comprehensive view on the safe and healthy transition into low-carb will follow soon.
But here’s for the combo:
– one-hand swing
– clean & press
– thruster (squat & press)
– switch hands and start over
Do this ten times per hand. Five sets.
